Mother Yvonne-Aimée de Malestroit was a French religious sister born on July 16, 1901, in Cossé-en-Champagne and who died on February 3, 1951. She was a member of the Augustinian order, and her life was marked by numerous miraculous phenomena and an early spiritual radiance.
This film contains footage shot by Mother Yvonne-Aimée and her sisters, thanks to a small camera gifted in 1931. It is enriched by the testimonies of sisters who knew Mother Yvonne-Aimée well. Laurent Desprez, the director of this documentary for France 3 Ouest, met with Father Labutte, who was united with Mother Yvonne-Aimée by a privileged spiritual friendship. Father Laurentin, author of several publications on Mother Yvonne-Aimée, provides his expert analysis in conclusion, alongside Dr. Patrick Mahéo, his co-author.
The film/documentary is also available in DVD format from the Malestroit Augustinian Sisters' shop.
