Development works are underway, including the transformation of Piazza Pia into a more pedestrian-friendly space, thereby linking Castel Sant'Angelo to St. Peter's Square.
The theme chosen for this Jubilee, "Pilgrims of Hope," resonates particularly in our troubled world. In these times of uncertainty, the Church reminds us that Christian hope never disappoints. It invites us to turn toward Christ, the source of all hope.
We are called to prepare spiritually for this Holy Year. Pope Francis has declared this year a time of prayer, encouraging us to open our hearts to divine grace. May this Jubilee be for each of us an occasion for profound spiritual renewal, a sincere return to God, and a recommitment to our faith.
