In recent days, the entertainment giant Netflix has been navigating an unprecedented crisis. The company has lost nearly 15 billion dollars in value following a wave of mass cancellations, encouraged by Elon Musk himself, in reaction to the streaming of transgender content aimed at children.
It all began when Libs of TikTok revealed disturbing excerpts from cartoons produced by Netflix, notably "Dead End: Paranormal Park," a series intended for a young audience. Elon Musk immediately reacted: "This is not ok," before calling on families to "cancel Netflix." The controversy grew when another excerpt showed the series "Baby-Sitters Club," which openly promotes transgenderism to children and ridicules those who refuse to embrace this ideology.

Swiftly, "Cancel Netflix" became the top trending topic on X. The company's stock plummeted, dropping several points in just three days, confirming the anger of a significant portion of public opinion.
A Moral Question Before a Political One
Catholic commentator Benny Johnson reminded that the issue is not primarily a political quarrel, but a moral battle:
"Netflix sexualizes children by presenting radical subjects as family entertainment. This is not just a culture war: it is immoral, and it should be illegal."
Elon Musk approved this analysis "100%," confirming that the scandal transcends usual divides.
James Esses added that the platform does not merely tolerate LGBT propaganda, but actively imposes it on its subscribers. He recalled that in March 2025, Netflix proudly published a list of programs celebrating "Transgender Day of Visibility," highlighting "non-binary" actors and characters.
A Heavy Past Record
This scandal is not an isolated case. For several years, Netflix has multiplied productions marked by LGBT ideology: "She-Ra and the Princesses of Power," "The Mitchells vs. the Machines," "Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts," "Nimona," "First Kill," "CoComelon Lane," or even "Ridley Jones," a series for toddlers featuring two "dads" and a non-binary character.
But the most serious case dates back to 2020, when the platform produced the film "Cuties," described by many observers as veritable child pornography. This production had already sparked a wave of global outrage, but Netflix persisted on this path, revealing a deliberate ideological strategy.
A Crisis of Image and Justice
As Rogan O’Handley (DC Draino) reminded, Netflix is facing a public relations crisis:
- first, for its transgender series aimed at children,
- second, for the revelations of internal documents accusing the platform of racial discrimination against White people in its hiring practices.
These elements fuel growing indignation, because Netflix is not content with corrupting children's morals: it also undermines the very foundations of natural justice and the common good.
What is happening with Netflix is not merely a financial collapse; it is a moral fall. The company is reaping the fruits of its determination to impose an ideology that denies human nature and destroys the innocence of children. As Benny Johnson emphasized, this is no longer a secondary cultural debate, but a confrontation over what is most sacred: the protection of purity and childhood.
Such a scandal confirms the urgency for Catholic families to turn away from these corrupted platforms and to preserve their homes from these toxic influences. When finance falters in the face of morality, it is a sign that truth continues to enlighten consciences.
