The Church of Our Lord is traversing an unprecedented crisis. Far from being a mere theory or alarmist exaggeration, the infiltration of the gay lobby within the institution is a manifest reality. This phenomenon is not limited to a few isolated cases: it has insidiously established itself even in the highest spheres of the ecclesiastical hierarchy. Yet, those who should stand up to defend the doctrine seem to have chosen to look away, and sometimes even to encourage this drift.
From cardinals to priests, through influential laypeople and certain journalists, many are adopting a seductive discourse of "inclusion" and "tolerance," while omitting the necessity of conversion. The teaching of the Church is clear: every man is called to holiness, but this holiness cannot be accomplished in the persistence of sin. The contradiction is glaring: how can one preach fidelity to Christ while encouraging practices contrary to divine law? It is not about excluding, but about calling to true transformation, that which comes through the renunciation of disordered desires and submission to the will of God.
Holy Scripture leaves no room for doubt: "Male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27), "Be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:28), "Do not be deceived: neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor sodomites will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Yet, in certain ecclesiastical circles, citing these verses has become an almost subversive act. There is a preference for speaking of "new realities," of a "pastoral accompaniment" that leads to no true conversion, and of distorted blessings that betray the message of Christ.
Most concerning is the silence of the shepherds. Those who should be the defenders of the faith are often reduced to Church functionaries, preoccupied with their media image rather than their mission of transmitting the truth. Fearing marginalization or attack, some bishops choose prudence over firmness, even though their role is to be courageous witnesses, ready to face opposition to defend the word of God.
The true persecution today does not target those who promote the LGBT agenda, but rather those who dare to oppose it with fidelity to the perennial doctrine. The Church does not need to conform to the fashions of the age, but to forcefully recall the call to holiness. If our shepherds choose to remain silent, then it will be the faithful who make the truth heard.
The hour has come to rise and defend the honor of the Church. If the bishops are silent, then let the stones cry out!
