Monsieur Henri: The Pardon of La Rochejaquelein is a film created by a small team of enthusiasts; discover the Wars of the Vendée through the courage of this 20-year-old youth.
The film traces the beginning and the end of the epic of Henri de La Rochejaquelein. A short film produced by the Ermonia team, an association of passionate young people from the Vendée.
Ermonia is a non-profit association, created in June 2021. It supports a cinematic project with a historical dimension and seeks to evoke an emotional experience for the viewer.
Ermonia is composed of 14 young people aged 19 to 21, united by a shared passion for music, cinema, and literature. 71% of Ermonia's members are former or current students of ICES (Catholic Institute of the Vendée).

The Catholic and Royal Armies comprised all the royalist armies of western France during the War in the Vendée and the Chouannerie of the French Revolution.

The Catholic and Royal Army was reformed in 1832 during the War in the Vendée and Chouannerie of 1832, fielding 20,000 men and pitting Legitimists against Orléanists with the aim of overthrowing Louis-Philippe I, who had been proclaimed King of the French following the July Revolution.
