Currently, the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which has been convicted multiple times for corruption, is embroiled in the "Pfizergate" scandal. A whistleblower from the BMJ has made significant revelations concerning Pfizer's vaccine.
Indeed, the whistleblower asserts that Pfizer falsified data related to the trials of its COVID-19 vaccine through one of its subcontractors, the company Ventavia.
Brook Jackson, a Ventavia employee, reported questionable practices by her employer in conducting the Phase 3 trials—which are decisive for obtaining market approval—to her superiors, to Pfizer, and to the FDA (the U.S. Food and Drug Administration).
"There is just a complete lack of oversight of contract research organizations and independent clinical research facilities," states Jill Fisher, a professor of social medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and author of Medical Research for Hire: The Political Economy of Pharmaceutical Clinical Trials.

The Problems Raised by This Investigation:
- Participants placed in a hallway after injection and not monitored by clinical staff
- Lack of timely follow-up for patients who experienced adverse events
- Protocol deviations were not reported
- Vaccines were not stored at appropriate temperatures
- Poorly labeled laboratory samples
- Targeting of Ventavia staff for reporting these types of issues.
Only Nine of the 153 Trial Sites Were Inspected.
In recent months, Jackson reconnected with several former Ventavia employees who all left or were fired from the company. One of them was a manager who had participated in the late September meeting. In a text message sent in June, the former manager apologized, stating that "everything you complained about was spot on."
