Hello, dear friends! It's Napo. Delighted to be with you again to place the voice of the Church at the heart of society. Today, we walk in the footsteps of a giant of the mission and we decipher current events where spiritual combat rages. Don't forget: like and share, because it is together that we are strong!
Saint of the Day: Francis Xavier, God's Adventurer
On this December 3rd, the Church honors Saint Francis Xavier, Patron of Missions. This noble Navarrese, who became one of the founders of the Society of Jesus after being "kneaded" by Saint Ignatius, left everything for Christ.
From India to Japan, braving storms and persecutions, he baptized thousands of souls, exhausting himself from raising his arm to administer the sacraments. Dying at 36 years old at the gates of China, he leaves us this burning prayer: "I love You because You are You." May he inspire in us that same boldness to evangelize those close to us!
The Gospel: Giving Our "Seven Loaves" to the Lord
In today's Gospel (Matthew 15:29-37), Jesus heals the infirm and multiplies loaves for a hungry crowd.
Christ is the true physician of souls and bodies. He sends no one away hungry. Faced with the immensity of the task, the disciples are overwhelmed. But Jesus does not ask for the impossible, He asks for what they have: seven loaves and a few fish. This is the lesson for us today: let us offer our poor efforts, our small sacrifices. The Lord will give thanks and, through His abundance, He will feed the crowds through us.
Current Affairs Without Minced Words: Desecrations and Hope
The battle between Light and darkness is more visible than ever in our news:
- Alert on Desecrations: The Association of Exorcists denounces a wave of organized sacrilegious acts in Europe, from Rome to Montpellier. Let us remain vigilant; the Enemy does not sleep.
- Offenses in Marseille: The Chartreux church was defiled by hateful anarchist graffiti calling to "burn" the Creator.
- Confusion in Spain: Sects are proliferating dangerously, threatening the historical Catholic unity of the peninsula.
- Victory for Conscience (USA): American justice has condemned a university to pay 10 million dollars for forcing Catholic employees to receive the Covid injection derived from fetal cell lines. A victory against health tyranny!
- Hope in Serris (77): A new church is rising from the ground! The cornerstone of Saint-Colomban has been laid, proof that the Church still builds for Eternity.
- Shame in Belgium: Looters desecrated 135 graves to steal brass. Greed knows no bounds.
The History Page: December 3, 1795, the Victory of the Chouans
Let us remember our ancestors! On this day in 1795, during the Battle of Boucéel in Normandy, the Chouans of Aimé du Boisguy routed the Republican columns. Under the banner of the Sacred Heart, these peasants defended their King and their Mass with heroic bravery, inflicting a heavy defeat on the Blues before showing clemency towards the prisoners. Honor to them!
Let Us Pray for Our Missionaries
Let us conclude by turning towards Heaven:
"Lord, look with kindness upon those who announce Your Name at the peril of their lives. Like Saint Francis Xavier, give them a burning heart under the protection of Mary, Star of Evangelization. Amen."
Until tomorrow on Radio Du Clocher, and may the grace of the Lord keep you!
