Welcome, dear friends! This is Napo at the microphone. On this 18th of December, let us entrust our day to the Lord Jesus. Subscribe, like, and share so that the voice of the Church may resound everywhere!
Saint Malachi: The Prophet Who Shakes Our Lukewarmness
Today, the Church celebrates Malachi, the last of the minor prophets. His message is scathing and of burning relevance: God detests religious façade! He denounces negligent priests and broken marriages. Malachi reminds us that the Lord is a great King who demands pure worship. Above all, he announces the arrival of the precursor, John the Baptist, and the "Sun of justice." Let us not be lukewarm: let us offer God interior and true adoration.
The Gospel of the Day: The True Justice of Saint Joseph
In the Gospel according to Saint Matthew (1:18-24), we meditate on the distress and obedience of Saint Joseph. A just man, he refuses to denounce Mary. The angel reassures him: the child is from the Holy Spirit.
Saint Thomas Aquinas and Saint Jerome teach us: the virginity of Mary is perpetual and "before they lived together" does not imply anything for the future. Joseph, a model of trust, accepts his mission. He takes into his home the Mother of God and Emmanuel, "God-with-us." Let us learn from him this merciful justice that avoids hasty judgments.

A Day in History: December 18, 1593
This is the priestly ordination of Saint Francis de Sales. The future Bishop of Geneva and Doctor of the Church begins his mission. His weapon to reconquer souls in the face of Calvinism? Gentleness, charity, and writing. He shows us that hearts are won by love, not by force.
Let Us Pray Together
Lord, protect our persecuted brothers and sisters, support families in difficulty, and give us the courage of Truth. Through the intercession of the Holy Family, hear us. Amen!
Until tomorrow on Radio Du Clocher!
